Marshall Super Lead 100

I know what you’re thinking: I'd love to drag mine out of the closet but who plays that loud?

We can tweak these guys up so that the tone controls make some sense. This is of course a personal thing but I have mine set up so it sounds about right with the tone controls straight up noon, which is to say we could take some of that searing treble pain from hell out, but keep the basic gain structure where it is.

German EL 34’s sound best to me, Mullards are practically out of the question price wise though we sometimes have them if you want them.

We have also come up with a mod for the 100 watt (louder than you should play) model that knocks the amp down to around 45 Watts without using a power attenuator. It doesn’t use triode mode or turn off two of the power tubes. It sounds great and can be put on a switch in the back as long as you promise not to switch it while the amp is on!

Call or email us for more info.
