 Meet the VTPB 1   

Our own hybrid design utilizing vacuum tube point to point hand wired construction. This is a comprehensive system, which goes where only the truly obsessed would dare to go. Truly worthy of the name KANUTER.

Sound crazy? Read on:

 VTPB 1 Features:

• A specially designed tube stage adjustable gain          driver amplifier to interface your guitar to the world of  stomp boxes.

• A specially designed tube stage adjustable gain     recovery amplifier to put your signal back into shape before  going to your amplifier.

• Bypass foot button (with status indicator) that allows you to compare and balance the sound of your guitar going straight to your amp - vs - the guitar going through all your stomp boxes and then to your amp.  

• A heavy-duty 9VDC @ 1 ampere supply for all your stomp boxes with 10 separate power plug terminations!

• A 120VAC convenience outlet  

• A nice clean sturdy pedal board and all the hook & loop fastener you will need to mount and organize your pedals.

• Also included in the basic VTPB 1 system price is your choice of one:

• A/B Selector @ the output

• Mute/Tune Button @ input or output

• Gain Boost Button (tube stage of course)

That’s the basic unit though more is available. At this point it becomes sort of a custom configuration, as everybody’s needs are a little different.

A few other common functions which may be included in the system are:

• DI Output(s)

• Ground Loop Isolation Transformers

• Remote switching function(s):  Reverb, Tremolo, Channel switch, etc.

• Additional power supply provisions such as 12VAC supply

• Floor mounted blow dryer & vanity mirror

We say: guitars gotta’ go into tubes first, the technical reasons are numerous, and besides you are probably already aware of the main reason, the only one that matters; the sound. Further to that end, all signal switching is accomplished by way of either mechanical switches or relay contacts.
